is only in the recent times that high flying fashion stores have
been surfacing and the choice of the fashionable ladies is no longer
restricted to the local tailor. But long before the fashion boom
four people had conceptualized Ensemble. The one of
its kind Ensemble is the first haute couture and style salon in
India. Tarun and Sal Tahiliani, Tina Tahiliani Parikh and late Rohit
Khosla, stalwarts of the Indian fashion industry started the boutique
Ensemble in the year 1987. It was imagination and foresight that
drove these dynamic people to come up with such a innovative concept
something very much imitated over the years.
Ensemble offers a platform where various talented designers display
their own labels. An innovative concept in itself the store has
spelled huge success for its founding fathers. Today Ensemble has
four such high fashion stores spread all over the country and it
is recognized as one of the milestones in the world of Indian high
fashion. The brother and sister duo Tarun and Tina Tahiliani over
the years have been the main driving force behind the triumph and
prosperity of Ensemble. Besides the fabulously worked out designer
clothes, the pret-a-porter collection has some of the big names
in the industry to boast. Ensembles clothes are well known for it
cuts, style and finish and needs no introduction.

Tahliani, Monisha Jaising, Wendell Rodericks, Meera & Muzaffar Ali,
Vivek Narang and Sunita Shankar are some of the well known designers
whose clothes are retailed at Ensemble. It also has an in house
line, the Ensemble Design Studio. The in built catwalk and the fully
equipped interiors of the store allows fashion shows to be held
at regular intervals and introduce new collections to some of its
top clients. Ensemble over the years has evolved as the last word
for the fashion conscious people.
