Silk Emporia of Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC) and Priyadarshini, Bangalore are the only organisations in India that control the entire process of silk production. To ensure the purity that it is reputed for, KSIC uses only pure natural silk and zari.

Silk Emporia at World Trade Centre in Mumbai was established in the year 1985. Its range of sarees are priced from Rs 1600/- to Rs 15,000/- in crepes, pure zari and pure silks.
