MiDas Enterprise for intelligent
integrated content delivery
Wireless intranet access through voice has now become a reality
with MiDas Enterprise (version 1.2) globally enabling mobile
access to intranet and internet information. This product was launched
by MyZus, keeping in mind the needs of corporate executives
wanting to access information hosted on their organisation's intranet
from remote locations through both voice and data. Described as
an 'intelligent' integrated content delivery platform, MiDas Enterprise,
which resides on the intranet server is designed to help a user
listen to or read his intranet and internet information like e-mails,
documents, etc from mobile devices including landlines, cellphones
Palm PCs and PDAs.
Accessing data through text is also not a hassle, as MiDas Enterprise
enables the user to read information though a 'single-key' on the
cell phone instead of repeating commonly used commands. MiDas Enterprise,
which is capable of serving millions of users is available at a one-time
license fee and takes just one week to deploy. Says Roshan D'silva,
CEO, MyZus, "The fact that organisations will not require to
WAP enable its Intranet content or make any change in technology infrastructure
will help give MiDas Enterprise wider acceptance. We are looking at
global revenue figures of $15 million in the next two years from MiDas
Enterprise."
To increase its acceptance, MyZus is also planning to partner with
channel partners, service companies and system integrators. MiDas
also makes users capable of issuing alerts and notifications to
the employees, on SMS and voice channels. The main features of the
solution include facilities for a corporate communications backbone
through voice, e-mail and SMS notification, which can be used for
issuing alerts, notifications and other concise or detailed forms
of communication to employees across multiple platforms.
MyZus is a pioneer in developing cutting edge innovative technology
products and solutions to revolutionise internet access in a wirefree
world. The company is also a leading wireless internet product company
working on new and innovative solutions to mobilise information.
A start-up founded by Roshan D'Silva and Sandeep Srivastava, winners
of the IIT Business Plan Contest, Eureka 2000, MyZus is dedicated
to developing products for the global market. From a two member
start-up operating out of the IIT Business Incubation cell in Mumbai,
MyZus has now grown to become a 40 member strong team consisting

India. MyZus aims to partner with market leaders in the telecom
and software industries in order to provide the best high-end technology
