Oscar Ultrasonics
"Oscar Ultrasonics Private Limited" is the brain
child of a group of nine people who were the victims of the changes
in the industrial sector due to theeconomic liberalization, initiated
by the Government of India, as part of the 'globalization of
the economy' during the last decade of the nineteenth century.
On account of the closure of a well-known unit manufacturing ultrasonic
equipments, these nine people came about with 'Oscar Ultrasonics'
as a partnership firm on the 1st of November 1996. Considering
the growth opportunities they incorporated the company Oscar
Ultrasonics Private Limited. on 22nd January 1999.
 "Oscar
Ultrasonics" is unique in it's structure with hundred percent
worker participation. Therefore, the entire management and technical
staff by virtue of their past experience of over 25 years, in the
field of ultrasonic, is the back bone of this organization. Mr.
P. Velan one of the Directors adds, "We pooled
all our resources- the managerial acumen, technical expertise apart
from our heart and soul into Oscar- for the benefit
of our customers. It is our endeavour to offer quality products
and services to our customers for their specific need at reasonable
cost. Everyone in Oscar is directly or indirectly
involved in quality improvements and cost reduction as we strongly
believe that quality and cost reduction brings us business."
They commenced their business in 1997 in a small place-offered
free-of-cost by one of their well-wishers. Within six months, they
were able to shift to their own rented premises. Today, they own
a place of their own in a Classs-I Industrial Estate. Their turn
over for the year 2000-2001 stood Indian Rupees 5 Million. "After
four glorious years of our existence, we are proud to haveestablished
our brand name "Oscar" for Industrial Ultrasonic
Cleaning Systems." says an ecstatic Mr. Velan.
 Their
product ranges include : Ultrasonic cleaning Systems, Multi-Chamber
Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems, Multi- Chamber Ultrasonic Vapour Degreasing
Systems and accessories include: Automatic Material Handling Systems,
Filtration Systems,Fume Extraction systems and more.They also make
Ultrasonic Welding Horns and Fixtures for Ultrasonic Plastic Welding
Machines as per customer needs. Their latest products under
development include: Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machines.
Their customers include, Shar Center, ISRO, Shriharikota, VSSC,
Thiruvananthapuram, Department of Atomic Energy, BARC, Mumbai, Rare
Materials Project, BARC Mysore, Telecom Factory, Mumbai TIFR, Mumbai
 BEL
Gaziabad, ECIL, Hyderabad, National Physical Laboratory. Their
customers in the private sector include: Cipla Limited, Mumbai
/ Kurkumbh / Patalganga, BPL Limited- Banglore and Madras, Hydraulic
Hoses Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Bengal Industries Pvt. Ltd. Faridabad,
and others.
