largest IMAX Dome in Mumbai
IMAX theaters provide the world's most impressive movie
experience, allowing audiences to feel part of the on-screen entertainment.
Images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact, enhanced by a state-of-the-art
sound system, are projected onto giant screens. IMAX Corporation,
Canada invented and developed the first large format motion
picture system. The development of IMAX started with EXPO'67
in Montreal, Canada. There are 225 IMAX theaters operating
in 26 countries.
Today,
Adlabs - India's Premiere Motion Picture Processing laboratory
is all geared up to set up India's first and the World's
largest IMAX Dome theater along with 4 conventional cinemas.
Adlabs has always set standards and kept abreast of the new technologies
for picture projection quality and are now ready to bring to India
and Indian audiences a world class theater experience like never
before. The IMAX dome theater has a seating capacity of 520 while
conventional theaters has a total capacity of 1225 seats. The films
viewed on the IMAX Dome Screen are 45-50 minutes long with
10 shows a day.
The cinema complex can assure complete entertainment for the entire
family with the IMAX Dome Theater, IMAX films, conventional Hindi
and English Films, Food-courts, Simulator rides, and
other recreational facilities. The IMAX Adlabs Theater will introduce
an International medium of fun, excitement, entertainment and education
all coupled with 'cutting-edge' technology.
