Nakamichi comes to India
The
war in the world of audio systems has been hotting up and
the big wigs are battling it out to the last. One of the recent
additions to the list of companies entering the Indian market is
Nakamichi Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers
of high tech audio, video and multimedia equipment. Having dominated
the world market for long with its home audio hi-fi systems and
car audio systems, Nakamichi has been involved in advance
research in the field of acoustics and has come out with some of
the most pleasing sounds.
On
November 1, the Japanese audio giant announced its entry into the
Indian market. The inaugural ceremony presented by the chief operating
officer, Nakamichi India, Anil Khera, along with actress
Juhi Chawla as chief guest, presented the new Soundspace
line of audio and home theatre products. According to Khera,
"For over fifty years, Nakamichi has delivered top quality
audio products that incorporate sound, style, and substance. Nakamichi
products will be available at specialty audio stores and Nakamichi
exclusive outlets."
Speaking
on the occasion, Juhi Chawla, who is the brand ambassador for Nakamichi
India, put in a word stating "yeh mere naak ka sawal
hai, so see to it that the products do good business in India."
Flashing her million dollar smile, she noted that Nakamichi has
brought to India some of the most advanced products in the field
of audio equipment and wished the company the very best.
The flagship of the Soundspace systems fleet is the Soundspace
21. It is a remarkably flexible and luxurious home theatre system,
which incoporates sophisticated styling and versatile features.
Another world's first from Nakamichi is the single bodied
3-CD changer which is available at considerably low prices. This
unique Music Bank system MB-K300 has an increased customer rotation
frequency. The products are likely to cost between Rs. 45,000 to
Rs.3,00,000 and the car stereo range comes within the range of Rs.
19,000 to Rs. 90,000. Manufactured exclusively in Japan, the products
will be available in the stores from November onwards.
