Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra displays his exclusively designed range for the Sheetal Design Studio at Sheetal, Breach Candy. Better known for dressing up Bollywood starlets such as Urmila Matondkar, Manish has his designs planned for the festive season.

The Manish Malhotra collection is a celebration of feminity. In the last two years Malhotra has been involved with mainstream designing , specially underscoring the intricate interplay of pastel shades and motifs in embroidery. The current collection is an extention of the same philosophy. Keeping his basic style intact, the collection reflects the festive mood. While sticking to his favourite pastel shades and georgettes, Malhotra uses unusual cuts and and youthful colours .

Shades such as pink, cream, lilac, and yellow lend the garments a feminine touch .The hues blend beauty and serenity together in perfect harmony. Manish Malhotra says, "Pastel shades for me, symbolise the celebration of feminity and womanhood and what better time to celebrate than during festivals. For me it is a dual celebration since its my first collection with Sheetal Design Studio."

For the first time, Manish Malhotra has ventured into the field of designer mens wear. In his Diwali collection, his belief in the dignity and grace of the male form finds expression in the variety and mood of his designs. Commenting on the new range, Dhiren Shah, CEO, Sheetal maintained that that his studio's endeavour has always been to excel in the field of fashion.
