being celebrated this millennium in a unique way - by introducing
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) with non-thermal diode laser fo treating
elderly patients suffering from age related macular degeneration.
The

treatment and management of diabetic retinopathy, retinal laser,
treatment and management of uveitis, corneal diseases and glaucoma,
cataract surgery, squint, paediatric ophthalmology, orbital and
oculoplasty, contact lens, low visual aid, etc. The other facilities
available are: a blood collection centre, computerised ECG machine,
X-ray machine and physical fitness consultation from physicians
and cardiologists.
Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital has become a landmark in total eye care.
It started 10 years ago as a vitreoretinal treatment and research
centre. At that point, patients with other eye disorders had to
be turned down. This led to the establishment of two new units -
Panacea and Prime. These units cater to eye disorders
other than vitreoretinal ones.
