Midas Interiors Pvt Ltd, started in 1997-98 by Abbas Contractor, offers standardised and stylised modular kitchen units, which can adapt to any kitchen design and size. They are available in a wide range of vibrant colours, pre-laminated, polyurethane coated or simple teakwood finish with melamine polish.

The company has specialists who go to customer's residences for measurements and offer advice on the design and installation of the kitchen, including selection of sinks, work tops, built-in appliances and other accessories."All our kitchens cupboards are made of marineply, which are easily durable and last upto 13 to 14 years. They can be cleaned with water and during shifting of residence at least 80% of it can be reinstalled at a new location," says Contractor. The cost of these modular kitchens depend on the design and the size, and range from Rs 5000/- to Rs 5 lakhs.

The company has its factory in Nagpada. After the order has been placed it takes 4 to 5 weeks for manufacturing the units and 3 to 4 days for assembling it at the client's residence. They offer a 1 year warranty for the kitchens.

Midas Kitchens offers options in granite, marble and laminates, utility stainless steel sinks with accessories like vegetable bowls, garbage bins, focussed and concealed light fixing areas, etc.
