Vako Seals offers perfluoroelastomer (FFKM), which is commonly known as Kalrez ®. This unique material can endure the harsh pressures of any environment, and is available in the form of moulded `O’-Rings as per the customer specification. FFKM has unbeatable resistance against concentrated acids, alkalis, steam, organic alcohols, ketones and esters. It has a wide service temperature, which ranges from 25° C to 300° C. FFKM is also immune to sudden changes in the service environments and lasts much longer than conventional elastomers including FPM (Viton ®).

Vako Seals offers polymers like acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (ACN) which is commonly refereed as Nitrile or Buna-N which is a copolymer of Butadiene and Acryonitrile. Their differentiation is based on the percentage of bound Acryonitrile (ACN) content in the polymer. The low ACN polymers have low temperature flexibility, compression set resistance and good elastic properties and they also offer moderate resistance to oils and fuels. As the ACN content increases, resistance to mineral oils, fuels and greases also tends to increase, but the properties such as low temperature flexibility, compression set resistance and elasticity are deteriorated. Medium ACN polymers exhibit good balance of all the above properties. Normal service temperatures of these polymers ranges from 25° C to 120° C.

Vako Seals also offers polymers like polychloroperene rubber, Ethylene propylene diene rubber, ethylene acrylate rubber, silicon rubbers, fluorosilicone, fluorocarbon rubber, tetrafluoroethylene propylene, chloro sulphonated polyethylene, ethylene oxide - epichlorohydrin rubber, carboxylated nitrate rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, butyl rubber, chloro butyl rubber, bromo butyl rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, polyurethane, thermoplastic polyurethanes, polytetra fluoro ehtylene, polyoxymethylene, nylon, etc.

Vako Seals has highly efficient engineering and development divisions, CAD design, in-house compound development and testing of all physical and mechanical properties. The products of Vako Seals are moulded by compression and the transfer and injection moulding is done with the help of automatic lathe trimming machines and cryogenic methods. All the products are manufactured under strict quality control procedures as per ISO, IS, BS, DIN, SAE, JIS, GOST or any other proprietary specification provided by customer. Endurance tests are also conducted to ensure compliance with the requirements of the customers.
