Inplant Logistics: Warehouse management, cargo handling, packaging, carriage and movement within the plant.

Distribution Logistics: Domestic cargo transport or transfer to users within the country through stock points as warehouse owners and from suppliers in desired quantities in order to fufill the requirements.

Import/Export Logistics: Whether it is cargo for export to import, ABC is fully geared up to deliver anywhere in the world. Using more than one mode of transport under a single document. In association with their overseas associates such as Worldgate Express Private Limited, Singapore; Pactrans International, USA; Dacotrans, Europe; Nissin, Japan and Advent Freight, Australia.

* Was registered on the stock exchange in 1972.
* Introduced Aircraft Recovery & Transportation System in South East Asia at IGI Airport, New Delhi in 1992.
* Erected the world's tallest monolithic statue in the middle of Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad in 1993.
* Proceeded to Colombo, Sri Lanka to complete transportation of over weight packages in 1993.
* Reached Agartala with 98 Metric Tonnes packages using river and land route via Bangladesh.

``In the future, ABC's priority areas includes strengthening out its international network and gaining a foothold on interior markets as well. As India continues its search for sophisticated, cost-effective logistic solution, ABC will continue exploring this field and providing custom designed solutions. The ABCOLINES is one of the few licensed companies to operate as Mutli Modal Transport Operators internationally. The ABCOLINES has a tie up with Fransmaas network in the EEC block.We have also tied up with Worldgate for Singapore and the Pacific region", said ABC Marketing Manager S K Jha.

`` We have the infrastructure to deliver the cargo from the door of the consignor to the door of the consignee. Sometimes we also operate as the forwarder for port to port shipment. ABC also has an Air Freight Division to handle air cargo. We handle all intermediate steps like customs clearing and warehousing. We have warehouses all over India where goods can be stored safely. Access to a fleet of over 1000 trucks ensures that all our operations are carried out with minimum obstacles", said Jha.

"At ABC we have several plans for the future. On the top of our priority list are collaborations with international freight forwarders of repute. This will expand our network to include the Middle East, North and South America, Africa and Australia. We shall also be getting into the forwarding of refrigerated goods. We will soon offer storage cum display facility to our clients. A specially constructed complex in Antwerp will enable the consignor to display his goods to the buyers,'' Jha added.
