Rado unveils the futuristic Xeramo 

RADO Watch Company Limited, the leading Swiss watch manufacturer and part of the 3.6 billion Swiss Francs Swatch Group announced the launch of its futuristic product 'XERAMO' - a sensational new watch that promises to accentuate the personality and individuality of fashion conscious youth and ' young at heart ' Indian consumers. Present at the launch, held on Sunday, were Mr. Roland Streule, President, Rado Watch Co., Switzerland and Lisa Ray, Rado ambassadress.

'Xeramo', a time - machine which breaks tradition , has a unique nomenclature derived from the words - e'X' treme, c'ERA' mics and 'AMO'r (Spanish for love ) . Teamwork between a cross section of the target group, designers and engineers resulted in the creation of this spectacular Rado watch. Made from scratch proof high-tech ceramics with scratch proof sapphire crystal, iit is available in two sizes and two dial variations .

Speaking on the occasion Roland Streule said, "Rado has been in India for over two decades and our watches have found continuous patronage from the Indian community . Rado was the first global Watch Company to set up a customer service network in India . Today Rado has world class service centres in 17 Indian cities."

Lisa Ray was counted amongst the top ten beautiful women of the century in a recent Internet poll. She was awarded the "Most Stylish Female Model " in 1999 by Elle magazine and 'Face of the millenium ' by Lakme this year.
